GlenAllachie 8 yo Scottish Virgin Oak
This golden malt obtains its indulgently sweet characteristics from maturation in casks crafted from Sessile Oak (Quercus Petraea), which grows in forests along the Atlantic coast of Scotland. Seldomly used for whisky maturation, Scottish Oak is not only rare and costly but is incredibly challenging to work with at all stages of production; growing, milling, and coopering. Prior to hosting our honeyed whisky, the wood was air dried for 36 months before being toasted and charred to a medium level to encourage optimum interaction between Oak and spirit. Despite presenting difficulties, this desirable Oak imparts luxurious notes of blonde chocolate, with hints of zesty orange and smooth toffee to offer a truly unique drinking experience.

GlenAllachie 10 yo Chinquapin Virgin Oak
1,200 bottles for the US.
Bottled at 48% and matured in American Oak ex-Bourbon Barrels then finished in Chinquapin Virgin Oak for 18 months, this exceptional malt gets its complex, zesty flavors from casks made of Chinquapin Oak (Quercus Muehlenbergii) sourced from the Northern Ozark region in Missouri. Chinquapin is a sub species of Quercus Alba and delivers spicy flavors and aromas. Air dried for almost four years, then toasted to medium level these casks give us the perfect balance of spirit and wood character.

NOSE: Bursting with orange zest, heather honey and pecan, with notes of butterscotch, nutmeg and licorice.
TASTE: Lashings of cinnamon, barley sugar, and toasted biscuits; followed by rose hips, orange peel and heather honey.
GlenAllachie 10 yo French Virgin Oak
600 bottles for the US
Bottled at 48% and matured in American Oak ex-Bourbon Barrels then finished in French Virgin Oak for 18 months, this golden bronze malt obtains its silky tannins, sweet spice, and fruit notes from hogsheads made of French Oak (Quercus Robur) sourced from the Haute-Garonne region close to the Pyrenees. The fine-grained, consistent wood is air dried for 15 months before hosting the GlenAllachie spirit. The result is a delectable, subtle and earthy Single Malt.

The GlenAllachie 2012 9 yo Cuvée Wine Cask Finish
With a passion for sourcing casks from niche producers, Billy acquired wine barriques from the world-famous wine regions of Languedoc and Valpolicella, along with casks from two Premier Cru Classé chateaux in Bordeaux to both complement and elevate our honeyed spirit. The character development of each individual barrique was carefully monitored, before the whiskies were expertly married by Billy to create this golden liquid, offering up elegant stone fruits, hints of toasted almonds, and zesty orange peel on the palate.

GlenAllachie 12 yo Port Wood Finish
This gorgeous ruby red malt has been matured for over nine years in American Oak Barrels. It was then re-racked into Ruby Port Wood Pipes. The secondary maturation develops the flavor, depth and complexity and adds a vibrant, rich colour. Regular monitoring ensures we achieve the perfect balance between port and malt whilst preserving the whisky haracteristics.

Made with Speyside peat from St Fergus, the young and feisty spirit was aged in a medley of former Bourbon and Rye barrels, as well as a quantity of virgin oak casks. The outcome is a punchy single malt abundant in smoked almonds, cinnamon sticks and dark chocolate, with puffs of earthy peat smoke.
Matured in ex-Bourbon & Rye barrels and virgin Oak casks the bottled at Cask Strength of 60.2%

The next instalment in our highly-anticipated annual release has arrived: The GlenAllachie 30-year-old Batch 3. To craft this elegant expression, esteemed Master Blender Billy Walker carefully selected eight casks from the finest vintage stock that had been lumbering in our on-site warehouses for over three decades. A true celebration of our bold and complex house style, this latest batch showcases the merits of patience and perseverance, coupled with our own Master Blender’s half-century of instinct and knowledge gathered throughout his famed career.
Dating back to the early ’90s, the whisky within each cask boasted full-bodied, smooth character which was further elevated when unified. With heavily Sherried influence, several Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso hogsheads were expertly married with premium American Virgin Oak casks to create this exquisite limited release. Exuding classic GlenAllachie honeyed charm, expect a refined palate to match this malt’s enticing mahogany hue. Abundant with flavors of stewed plums, warming cinnamon, and smooth caramel, this indulgent, cask strength delight is just as exceptional as you would expect.
