We exist to identify the very small number of casks that have produced the ultimate whiskies. The criteria for selection include rarity and maturity, but above all flavour. Adelphi whiskies are both rare and sought after.
Each single cask of whisky matures its contents very differently, imparting its own character to the whisky it holds and, as a result, there are never two Adelphis quite the same.

Nose: Gooseberry, honeydew melon, orchid, light cedar, lemon sorbet, wet stone, unripe pear – freshly sliced, Bounty bar – milk chocolate and sweet coconut.
Palate: Almond cake, Cointreau, ripe peach, cantaloupe, dry spice, strawberry Twizzlers, hints of anise.
Finish: Bright, surprisingly vivacious for the age; herbal, drying finish.

Nose: Orchard fruits galore – Bosc pear and nectarine. Black pepper, ouzo, cayenne, plum sauce, hoisin, ginger, almond.
Palate: Medjool dates, rum raisin ice cream, Chinese five spice, tamarind, candied orange peel.
Finish: Dry, spicy, and bold; with underlying sweetness and medium length.

Nose: Lacquered wood, undusted library, Fig Newtons, date bread, molasses, over-baked pumpkin pie, not-quite-ripe cherries, orange fruit pastilles, oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins, candied walnuts.
Palate: Black forest cake, leather armchair, dark chocolate truffle, pecan pie, brandied eggnog with nutmeg shaved on top, candied lemon.
Finish: Decadent; long, but spicy and dry.

Nose: Juicy clementine, lilac, pink grapefruit, green onion, parchment, peppermint chewing-gum wrapper, smashed bananas, cream, and icing sugar.
Palate: Crème de Banane, pastilles, Birch bark, graham cracker, flower garden, walnut skin, violet creams.
Finish: Spritely and lifted, but with good length. Creaminess from nose to finish.

Palate: Buttery pancakes, gingerbread dough, a Manhattan in a dram: bourbon-soaked cherries, vermouth, Angostura bitters; red grapefruit, glazed doughnuts, Grand Marnier, chicory coffee.
Finish: Long, rich and waxy; sweet characteristics but dry and lengthy finish.
