Kilchoman Machir Bay
“Pure rapture from start to finish, the Kilchoman Machir Bay transports me to the thick, rusted over forests that house plenty of chimney smoke and glowing fires. With strong overtones of eucalyptus, granite, and “abandoned log cabin” in the nose, the initial scent is truly something to behold. The palate, however, presents an even more intriguing interplay between the overwhelming peaty notes and the subtle hints of honey and hazelnut. Where the peat in the nose initially presents a campfire-esque type of smokiness, the peat that exists on the palate is much more reminiscent of hot asphalt and dying charcoal. Tucked behind all of this peat are beautiful notes of sweet, rich malts and touches of toasted nut. Ultimately, should you ever lose yourself in the ancient woods that have given birth to such an incredible drink, try to make sure that you stay lost forever.”

“Opens with a slightly sweet vanilla smoke, softens into a young strawberry on the mid-palate, and lingers with toasted almond in the finish. Excellent bottle for anyone entering the world of scotch.”
Arran Machrie Moor Peated Non Chill Filtered 92 Proof
“Aromas of raisins and damp hay. Immediately hits you with spicy flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg, then mellows into dried apricots and blueberries. Wonderfully complex for the experienced palate.”
Tamdhu 10 Year Sherry Cask 86 Proof Speyside
“Alluring aromas of sweet cream and vanilla. Sweet flavors of pecan praline, and slight smoke and core fruit. Eases into a buttery caramel in the finish with lingering smoke. Ideal scotch for those who also appreciate bourbon.”
