About LEMON HART & SON – Rum Purveyors:

Established in 1804, the Lemon Hart brand has a rich heritage in the global rum category. In the late 18th century, Mr. Lehman (“Lemon”) Hart was appointed as the first official supplier of rum to the British Royal Navy. Mr. Hart crafted a remarkably smooth and flavorful blend using only the finest Demerara rums into a premium spirit that still today, over two centuries later, honors his name and passion for fine rum. Today, the award-winning Lemon Hart & Son Rum portfolio includes Lemon Hart 151, Original 1804, and Blackpool Spiced Rum. They are available in fine restaurants, bars, lounges and liquor stores nationwide.

Mosaiq is a leading marketer of beverage alcohol brands with a prestigious portfolio across the spirits, wine and ready-to-drink categories. Established in 1998 as an offshoot of Seagram Canada, Mosaiq is an independently owned Canadian company firmly dedicated to building brands that complement the lifestyles of today’s discerning consumers.

NOTE TO EDITORS: All Lemon Hart & Son rums are blended by Master Blender Michael Booth and are all 100% tropically aged in Guyana. All Lemon Hart & Son rums share a common style due to a special and distinctive technique and production philosophy. All Lemon Hart & Son rums are distilled in Guyana and aged there in Bourbon casks (American white oak) which imparts some vanilla and delicate spice notes. The weather there is hot and humid which is good for a higher angel’s share. The resulting liquid is then bulk shipped to Montreal, Canada where it is bottled by Sazerac.
